LAURENCE GOLDBERG
Personal Fashion Stylist

About me

I was raised between New York and Paris, surrounded by a highly creative and stylish set. I began my career in New York with fashion publicist Pierre Rougier at the very inception of PR Consulting. Working with visionary brands and designers such as Alexander McQueen, Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, Helmut Lang, Hermès, and Narciso Rodriguez taught me to pay close attention to detail and to maintain a high level of excellence in my work.

In the early 2000s, I relocated to Los Angeles, where I became a celebrity fashion stylist, working with A-list talent such as Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, and Halle Berry on award shows, film premieres, special events, commercials, advertising campaigns, and media features. I returned to public relations in late 2007, serving as the West Coast PR and Special Events Director for Balenciaga, managing the brand's image and celebrity relations within the Hollywood community.

In 2013, I co-founded PR Consulting's Los Angeles office, working with notable clients like Louis Vuitton, Pierre Hardy, Rachel Comey, Acne Studios, Irene Neuwirth, and Miu Miu. However, as the media landscape was changing rapidly, I found my work lacking the excitement of earlier days. Fueled by my desire to return to more creative endeavors, I pivoted back to styling, this time focusing on individuals with busy lives who lack the time for fashion.

Your Wardrobe, Reimagined and Redefined

I've always loved clothes and admired people with distinctive style; as a personal stylist, I aim to highlight individuality, believing that the way we dress tells our stories. With a passion for curating wardrobes, I specialize in revamping my client’s closets, reimagining their existing pieces, and curating fresh looks tailored to their lifestyles. From there, I craft mood boards that serve as daily inspirations, making everyday outfit choices easy and fun.

Beyond revitalizing current collections, I guide clients in strategic shopping, proposing new additions that either complement what they already own, or elevate their outfits in a brand new way. I don’t believe that simply buying new clothes and filing your closet will change how you feel about how you dress; it’s about finding the missing pieces that will tie your look together. While I pay attention to trends, I don’t let them guide my feelings about style. My goal is to inspire confidence through fashion, fostering a wardrobe that aligns perfectly with each person’s needs, taste, and budget. I'm proposing a personal style upgrade.
